- PPPaula PattersonDec 31, 20251.0Bardstown KY Main Post Office…This office does not post online holiday hours and special closings. I’m forever stopping in here only to find out they just closed. They may post special hours on the door but that does absolutely no good when you look online then make a special trip into town. The USPS wonders why no one wants to bother with snail mail any more. Take a look at the photos. I looked up the hours 12/31/25 BEFORE DRIVING INTO TOWN (1st pic). Then the sign on the door says closed New Years Day (2nd pic) THEN the sign on the door INSIDE the post office shows they closed early today at 12 noon. I got here at 12:20pm. And don’t even think about asking one of the postal employees that are still working to do any favors….. always rude.
