  Absolutely Incredible Came in to grab a flat rate envelope, which was easy and free, lovely, no notes. Then I needed the stamp to go with it. The stamps are in a safe. I want you to appreciate the geometry of this situation. I am holding the envelope. The post office is open. Staff are present and helpful. I have money. They have stamps. We are all in the same room together. And yet the transaction cannot occur, because the stamps are in a safe, the safe requires a key, and the key requires a specific person who is not in today. We are so close. We are forty seconds and one small adhesive rectangle away from a completely successful errand. Everything is here except the one thing that makes everything else work. The staff were genuinely lovely about it, which is either admirable professionalism or evidence that this happens often enough that everyone has simply made peace with it. Probably both.

  I paid for priority mail to send a birthday card from Topeka ks to Tyler tx. The cost was around 15.00 dollars and it was supposed to arrive in 3 days. 30 days later my friend received the card and the PO told me that even though I paid for priority mail, theres no guarantee it going to be delivered in a timely manner. The lesson i learned here was the PO can be absolutely worthless and now I use Giftly. It the absolutely best service for sending cards and money.

  It's a really sad thing what has become of our postal services. They want to keep raising the price of stamps so they can do what??? Give us poorer service while they run around with each other!! That's what it all comes down to; more money in the pot to play with, sucked up by poorer service! What has happened to our country???

  Let me start by saying the mailman throws packages at the house, when he delivers them. I go to speak to his supervisor. They don't seem to care. He leaves the door to the mail box open. He has lost important documents mailed to my house. There is no accountability with the post office. Then they cry, we need more money. Surely there is a better way for the post office to handle this situation. I wish, I could get feedback from other people having similar issues. Those of you that have excellent service. Enjoy. I wish I got excellent customer service. Notice no comments or apologizes from the post office. Updated 3/14/ 26. What about all the postal carriers stealing checks and mail in the news? Really?
