- RSRiver SongMay 24, 20251.0They stopped door delivery on packages too big for the mailbox at my apartment complex at the beginning of December (6 months ago). When I asked why a package couldn't be delivered (it didn't require a signature & there was no ice), I was told the mail carrier hurt her foot. A few months later, I asked if I could pick up a package without the slip because I work near the post office & had gotten a notification that they couldn't deliver. I was informed it was her ankle that was hurt, so they're not delivering to the upstairs apartments. They don't even load the packages on the truck to attempt delivery. They just fill out a package slip & leave that in the box. One of their employees recently commented on a Facebook post that people order items over 30lbs & they're too difficult to deliver. Nothing I've ordered has been over 30lbs. My most recent purchase was a curtain rod. When they fail to deliver Amazon packages they give the reason that they don't know the access code. There is no access code to my apartment complex. Just like I'm sure my mail carrier isn't actually injured. They're just a bunch of lazy liars.
