The problem seems to be with packages staying stuck in KC, MO or KC, KS mail hubs for as much as 4 to 5 business days until they decide it's time to visit La Cygne, KS, lol.
- MWm wDec 16, 20251.0Our mail carrier, Jennifer, is the best!! She serves our private community so well, doing what she can to be sure we receive our mail and packages. However, this review is for the P.O. itself because the new Post Master has made things go downhill fast. He is forcing carriers to return to P.O. at a certain time, regardless of whether they have been able to get all the mail delivered. And overall the P.O. system is inefficient, tracking showing packages hung up at various postal locations for days, and delivery getting further delayed by bouncing from your local location to a distant location, and then back again. Makes no sense! U.S. Postal system needs a good overhaul.
- MHMark HardmanDec 15, 20251.0It is Christmas time. A time when you know the post office can get busy. So I tried to show some grace. I Had a package that was oversized for our parcel locker. Not a huge ordeal you would think. But the postmaster decided to shut all of our mail off to maybe “prove a point” I am not sure. After one chance to speak with Him he has not followed back up. I have reached out multiple times now as we have time sensitive medical paperwork in the mail. The worst part is he knows we have a medically fragile child we are caring for and Will not expose ourselves to going into the post office. When did compassion, empathy or doing what is right go out of style.
