- RRrumple1stilskin2Oct 5, 20191.0. Carrier would not open the gate and walk to my door , so i could sign for a letter. Not the first time i have dealt with this. Other carriers have been lazy , too. Now i have to make a special trip to the post office and track down my letter. What if it was important, or bad news? I dont need the extra stress and worry. Also, I DON'T DRIVE UP THE CURB AND ACROSS THE YARD, AND I DONT WANT THE POSTMAN TO DO IT EITHER, especially after it rains. WORST post office in the world. Why dont you just do your job? NOT CRAZY OVER THE WET MAIL, EITHER
