I have usually had a wonderful experience at this post office. I have even recommended it to family and friends. But I had an experience the other day that rattled me and will make me weary to go back anytime soon. My husband is deployed overseas for the military, and I was sending him a care package on my way to an appointment. The last time I had sent him a package, the postal worker told me to try filling out the customs form online because it would be easier, so that’s what I did. I downloaded what I thought was the barcode for the worker to scan once I got there, since I don’t have a printer to print the label. I showed the barcode to the woman who was working the counter, and she looked at me like I was crazy. I explained that I had filled out the form online and paid for shipping, and I just needed the label printed. She told me that it should be a QR code, not a barcode. I asked her where to get the QR code, and at this point her tone became very condescending and flippant. She said she had no idea how to find it and pretty much waved me off as she left to do something in the back. When she finally came back, I tried to explain that I had paid for it already, I showed her the receipt, and asked again where should the QR code be, and she just kept shrugging and giving me this smirk like she was enjoying my struggle. When I had paid online, I got a notice that I had until midnight to ship the package, I was on my way to an appointment, which now I was getting close to being late for, and the post office would close before I could come back. I stepped outside to compose myself, because I was starting to get upset, and click around the website, and fortunately was able to find the QR code. When I walked back in, her whole tone shifted. Suddenly she was super cheerful and happy, saying she was so glad that I figured it out. I don’t blame her for not knowing every inch of the USPS website, but her tone and attitude was so rude and made me not want to return for some time unless I know it’ll be one of the really nice men who work there.

Our delivery man refuses to deliver our mail and put our mail on hold against our wishes. We cannot trust to put our outgoing mail in our mail box because he wont pick it up. We have complained to the post master but she won't do anything about it. Very unsatisfied.

Bad attitude from the operator. I asked if they could call me whenever my package got in and he snapped back I will stick with Eudora now. That's not how you treat customers.
