Update 3/20/25 - Nothing has changed, packages are still not being delivered, slips are not being written, certified mail has gone missing and once again there is ZERO accountability from anyone at this office. Lost a certified letter from the IRS and when asked who I contact about it I am told "no one, there is no one to call." This place is a complete joke and needs a postmaster who actually cares. Gloria is the exact reason there talks of defining the USPS. The level of her incompetence is astounding and she does not care at all. There will be a petition to have her removed posted at the post office very soon if this does not change. Update 2/4/25 - Gloria has shut off delivery to my home after posting this. Her own office has said to contact the office on Gage to file complaints. I am also told Gloria only works from 5am-8am, which is very odd because her federal salary is $79k per year. $79k to work 15hrs a week, refuse deliveries, retaliate against customers and lie about delivery issues. This is our tax dollars at work and we deserve better than a Gloria Meats-Calvin. Since when is it okay for a Postmaster to threaten a customer with legal action for being barked at by dogs when we live where we do? I have neighbors without dogs who are asked to pick up packages as well. I have neighbors who watch you lie about not being able to deliver packages. The letter I received was about a package that was at the post office when I got a notification it couldn't deliver. I called 3 minutes after they couldn't deliver notification and the package was at the office. I spoke to a young man who said their policy states that they do not have to deliver to anyone with unrestrained dogs. The next day I received an unmarked envelope in my mailbox.. I uploaded the letter from Gloria with USPS letterhead that has the consumer affairs and inspector general's numbers written in. If you do not receive your packages, please file a complaint. We deserve fair and honest mail delivery without fear of retaliation or threats of legal action for monetary value. Do we have to chain up our dogs to get our mail now, or is it that you don't want to deliver large/heavy packages? By the way, our UPS driver hangs out with the same "threatening" dogs all the time.

I have informed delivery and received a notice that my package had been delivered at the mailbox, immediately walked out to check mailbox and nothing was there. I found and filled out “lost mail” information (which the site could use some revamping). But then I decided to drive to the Berryton post office and reported my issue to a very polite young man in attendance. He did some checking, apologized, and said he would get a message to the new mail carries. It wasn’t long and I saw the mail van deliver the package at my mail box. Thank you for locating and the delivery of my important business paperwork. I would recommend not only tracking packages but the informed delivery of your daily mail.

Nice little post office. Very friendly & helpful employees. I am so happy that Berryton has managed to keep its post office for the residents in the area.
