They service a smaller area of the community, so their shorter hours, while aggravating, make sense; but often they aren't even open during their posted hours. The service is incredibly poor, normally a single person is working the counter and the lines can get long. On my last visit, the employee could not get the scale to work, and dropped my fragile package from 2 feet above it multiple times to try to get the machine to read. After getting the weight he then tossed my package across the room into a container on the other side. There are good post office branches in this community but the Whiteland branch is an embarrassment.
