These people are actually terrible and they need to get fired. How are you gonna tell me to put my already packaged package in another package to make me spend more money. Someone please call HR

The black postal clerk was extremely rude to me and denied me service for registered mail with insurance claiming I needed brown tape and brown paper packaging which is ridiculous. I had a properly packaged item and there is no requirement for that. He was extremely rude this is one of the worst USPS postal experiences I've ever had at a post office.

Large old post office in old but well kept building just off the circle in downtown Shelbyville. They have many boxes inside for rent, as well as the service desks for other shipping or mail needs. The staff are usually friendly, and they try and keep the lines moving as quickly as possible. They seem to always stay pretty busy, so if you need a rep to help you, plan on 5 to 20 minute wait on average. Parking in front off the main road and more parking along the side and in the rear of the building.
