- VSVanessa SchwietermanMay 11, 20191.0Horrible customer service. They lost my passport, and have no idea whose PO box they put it in, costing me an expensive study abroad trip. They refuse to take any responsibility for the mistake or take any action to fix it. No idea where my passport is. Now, the money I spent on my passport and trip is wasted, I don't get to go at all, and the employees do not seem to care even the slightest. Update: 5 days after my passport was delivered to the post office, and many phone calls and visits later, they magically found my passport "in a crack." They did not bother to even look for a lost federal document as they said they did until 5 days had passed. During these 5 days, the staff were incredibly rude and did not even apologize. They refused to contact anyone who might have accidentally received my passport because that would have taken too much of their time. When the passport was finally found, they blamed it on a machine and still did not apologize. By the time they got my passport to me, it was too late for my study abroad program. This wasted all of the work I put into getting accepted and earning scholarships, with an obviously huge financial consequence. Losing this program also sets me back in my degree progress and lost any chance of going abroad for me. Still not even an apology from the staff.
