I'm writing this for the benefit of anyone in Los Angeles who has issues with the Studio City Post office, which is god-awful. You're better off coming all the way out here to send your mail. I've used this Rising Sun post office several times over the years, and I've never had any problems. I know some who have, but the service I've gotten has always been stellar. It's a small post office, so there's really not a whole lot going for it other than buying stamps or sending something. You're in and then you leave. Simple. Unlike Studio City, I never had anybody stick their hand in my face and tell me, "I'm goin' on my lunch break, honey!" So, to the good people of Studio City, here's what you do: Get on a plane, fly to Cincinnati, and drive to Rising Sun to send your mail. Sure, it's a bit out of the way, but at least you'll be guaranteed to have your package sent.

Whoever they have working in the office now is really unprofessional and has a unfriendly, lazy teenager kind of attitude on top of it. He is one of those people you can tell doesn't want to be there and has no respect for others. He never answers the phone, sometimes hours at a time and when he finally does he will often tell you to hold without even letting you speak and then leave the phone on the countrer and just (intentionally) forget about it. It's ridiculous. We are talking like 30-45 mins to an hour or more at a time.... Just leaving the phone on the counter and off the hook. I've spent entire days just trying to get through. It was not like this before when the woman was working up front.
