- ASAPRIL SANDERSSep 19, 20245.0The Orland Postmaster Lornie Danning is the best postmaster our little town has ever had. She is kind, patient, helpful and goes above and beyond for her customers. If you have lived in Orland long enough you have come to recognize when Lornie is working. If the telltale sign isn't parked out front, I am a little sad because I know she isn't there that day. Her cheerful hello as soon as you walk in is always a warm welcome. When she isn't working, it's definetly a different atmosphere. I appreciate her and mail carrier Bree so very much. They are both some of the hardest working postal workers I have ever encountered. They make you feel like family in this little community and that is a quality hard to find at any other post office in our county. It's definetly something I don't take for granted and greatly appreciate.
