- KWKelley WilliamsDec 17, 20252.0the mailman who services our house does not pick up mail when we put our flag up unless he has mail to deliver for us. that defeats the entire purpose of putting the flag up. additionally, the actual post office building is open until 7 but the counter opens at 8 and closes at 5 and I work too far away to make it in time so I can't be helped by anyone Monday through Friday (and most people work those hours by the way). don't waste a trip if you assume the hours on Google are their actual hours.
