The employee knew what he was doing the younger African American man. He did great. The problem was when the manager I assume intervened and redid the measurements when we were just about done says his measurements weren’t correct. She literally measured the exhaust by bending the metal tape around the pipe and was getting measurements that way. It went from $32 when the younger guy did it to $60 when she measured it up. I left after that as I only sold the exhaust for $72 with shipping included. I went to the Valparaiso UPS branch near Strack’s and told them what she did and they couldn’t believe it. I ended up only paying $38.48 at this place and they said she should not have been measuring the way she was doing it. Stay away from this UPS unless just bringing in amazon returns. I’d hate to think what kind of money customers have been loosing because she can’t measure correctly. I knew my dimensions when I went in and when she started measuring the way she was and was confident in it I was like I need to get out of here. UPS corporate you need to retrain her for awkward sized items measurements as the employee knew what he was doing and she was telling him he was wrong when in fact was correct. Don’t loose money going to this branch. A word for the manager at the michigan city, IN. branch , do not bend tape measure when measuring as it will not come out correct.
