  I was in there a short while ago. One clerk and people all the way to the door, which is typical for most post offices lately. But this clerk was on fire. She got us out very quickly. I was extremely impressed. So kudos and brava to Ashley. She needs an 'S' across her chest because she really kept her line MOVING! SUPER CLERK! MSo to the powers that be- she deserves a bump in pay or something. And instead of being harried or rude, she remained pleasant when most might've been tearing their hair out. Great job Ashley! Excellent work. THANK YOU.

  I had a very positive experience at the Merrillville Post Office, and I feel it deserves recognition for its friendly and expedient service.   I put in for USPS to hold my mail about a month ago. I went to pick my mail up from the Merrillville post office today and they didn't know where a months worth of mail went. The lady said it still be with carrier, why wasn't it dropped off and held at the office?

  Update on the passport service. Still no change in the process. They should consider removing the passport services from this location. My appointment is at 1030am and of course no one is here to service us. They are in a meeting so i don’t understand why they would allow appointments if they knew no one could service you. There is also another customer waiting with my family whom also have an appointment. Speaking with other patriots of the post office agree that the service is a consistent let down.
