- KDKim DickersonOct 8, 20253.0Never have had problems with the post office before (hence the 3 stars instead of the "1" I would've given for my experience today). I received a text message that my package had been delivered to my garage or other location at my home. I couldn't find the package ANYWHERE. Looked multiple times - to the point that if anyone saw me, they'd think I was crazy. 😝. Tried calling the post office 3 different times....no answer or voicemail. So, I drove down to the post office (checked my mailbox on the way, in which there was a paper saying that my package was not delivered, but was at the post office). Walked in to the post office, and I'm not kidding, the employee was sitting with his feet up on the desk, watching something on his phone and smiling. No WONDER the phone couldn't be answered!!!! 🤪. Customer service seriously lacking there......
- V3Victor 33Apr 12, 20251.0This post office picked up 37 packages worth thousands of dollars worth of UPS packages from my business even though they would not scan.... because they are UPS not USPS packages. They then lost them, there is no tracking available because it's the wrong carrier, and the POSTMASTER here in Markleville told me she didn't know what to do and it was not her problem. She then told me I needed to leave and go to Anderson post office to receive help. Anderson post office tried calling her, she did not answer the phone. They stated that it WAS her problem to solve and that there was nothing they could do since they only do a dock transfer to Indianapolis and never actually touch the packages from Markleville. Long story short, at this moment, I am out thousands of dollars in inventory, I have to RE-FULFILL those orders at MY expense, and even choosing to avoid the USPS is not safe now because they will take other carriers packages through incompetence. I cannot even file a claim because the tracking does not show as having been picked up. "That's not my problem" should be the USPS new motto.
