    I've only had positive experiences while communicating with the staff at this location. I'm a long time native of Lafayette, and have seen a varied staff who were all professionally trained and interacted with clear and direct instructions. The post office is not a fast food drive-thru, so wait times are to be expected. If you come researched and prepared, you will get what you need. I would recommend anyone hoping to expedite USPS services to visit their website before showing up at the local office. It is very detailed and helpful. USPS employees, especially the customer service employees, serve their community to the best of their ability and I do believe they have an interest in solving the problems they can. I've had them locate mail that was misdirected for a month. This was only possible because they do the right thing and follow procedure. Humans make mistakes, and I can say with full confidence the staff here does their best to correct them! Great job and thanks so much for being a part of our community ❤️

    One of the lady (the one who where a mask, well today she was), at the passport counter in Lafayette Indiana that helped my wife and I today was very unprofessional and straight up rude. Did not know the right id requirements and told us that we needed another form of id even though we brought what the U.S. Department of State said to bring for the id requirements. We would recommend going somewhere else to have your passports done like going to the Passport Office in Chicago.

    I would highly suggest only dropping off packages at the other post office near by. Never had issues there, not sure what’s going on at this location but the tracking isn’t updated, some in ‘scan’ for over a week, not being sent out on time. If you have your own business, learn from my mistake and don’t take your packages here.
