- STShelby ThompsonAug 4, 20251.0I utilize the drive-up mail collection box they have outside the building very frequently. I am sending out 20-30 envelopes almost every other day with my business. To make sure my business orders were going to be collected that day I took a picture of the collection times to ensure I always do so. Monday-Friday it’s 11:30am and 5pm and Saturday’s are at noon (12pm) and 4pm. Understandable they don’t collect on Sunday’s. So, I usually always go before the final collection time. Consistently, about every other time I drive up to the box it is over-flowing. To the point that it’s unsafe. Anyone could drive up and just grab an envelope from the mouth of the drop-box. This seems incredibly unsafe for anyone’s mail that is just right there for the taking. I have never seen a collection box this full unless they aren’t collecting the mail the designated previous collection time. I find it hard to believe that in 5 1/2 hours it is already full again on any given random day of the week. Thankfully, if you happen to arrive when they don’t decide to randomly close or on a random holiday that they decide to follow, you can go in and drop off stamped mail inside. But it truly defeats the purpose of have a drive-up Mail Drop-box if they aren’t even going to collect the mail at the designated times or even collect on time. I stopped today at 4:30pm and it was over-flowing. Decided to come back after the collection time. 5:15pm and still over-flowing. This needs to be rectified ASAP as this makes it look like they are mismanaging and our own mail and parcels. Truly unacceptable!
