Shay was so awesome and helpful. New to the state and she helped me with the process to get everything switched over.

To be fair, our regular carriers out of this office generally do fine. We get an occasional piece from the neighbors, but typically the ordinary service of mail delivery meets expectations. HOWEVER, I 100% agree with the other reviews about change of address or mail holds. If you do a change of address through this office, it might happen at some point in your lifetime but I have yet to witness this. Literally months go by and they can't assign a mailbox to a person. And despite putting the mail on hold, mail gets marked undeliverable and returned to sender. Recipient never gets the package and they don't refund the sender. Absolute theft and incompetence. And when you ask the manager about it, it's always someone else's responsibility/fault. When someone is incompetent, they blame everybody else and continue to fail at fixing the problem. (This was maintenance and facilities duty. No ability to contact them directly, surprise surprise.) Sadly, not an isolated situation. When I went to talk to them about it, I saw the list of other residents at Eagle Creek Apartments waiting for mailbox assignments. You all are screwed until the leasing office takes over management of the community mailbox.

My experience with this post office has been horrible to say the least. One employee in particular has given me nothing but problems. After moving into my apartment I was told to set up my mailbox here and I came in to order the keys and put my mail on hold (younger lady was amazing). My keys came in but they were incorrect so I had them remade and my mail put back on hold (Thursday). I was told by the younger lady to pick up my mail on Saturday so I waited until Saturday. I came in and was told by the problem lady that my mail was not there and that it was on a truck to my mailbox (I do not have a mailbox) and she didn’t even look for my mail before telling me that. I told her I don’t have a mailbox which is why it should’ve been there. She then couldn’t give me a straight answer about where my mail is and told me to come back Monday to pick it up. I ended up being busy and didn’t make it back until today (Wednesday) to which the same problem lady said it wasn’t here and again was on the truck. I have important mail that should not under any circumstances have an unknown location.

Delivering postal mail and packages is their job. If they dont deliver they take it back to Clermont, Indianapolis area. January 24th he marked it delivered at our community keyed and he said it was delivered 3:47 pm yesterday Jan 23. It wasnt left anywhere not even the Leasing Office where packages are to be left.

I only put one star because I had too but I moved the the area and it's been a nightmare ever since from the post office giving me the wrong key that wouldn't open up my mailbox, missing mail 6-7 weeks worth. You call up there they let it ring and hang up on you they do that about 3 times till they finally answer the phone very rudely. They definitely need to work on their customer service skills and if you need their help you might as well just go up there so they can just give you the run around and have you going in circles. I still don't know where my mail is ............................ This is the worst experience ever. I've never had a problem with a post office branch until now.
