Today, I came in to return an Amazon package. I hadn't been to this location in years so I wasn't sure where to go -- I saw the checkout counter, the printing counter, an Amazon locker, but no clear sign for Amazon returns. Behind one of the counters, there was an elderly lady (with a name tag that said "Juliann") not doing much, so I politely asked, "I'm sorry, but where can I return this Amazon package?" She barked at me to "turn around and read the sign." I turned and saw a small (maybe 4 inch by 6 inch) sign that said "Amazon returns this way" with an arrow pointing to the checkout counter. I pointed that way and asked, "Oh, over there?" She barked at me again, "No! Right here." I was shocked by her attitude and wasn't sure what I had done wrong... I didn't see the sign at first because it was so small and then when I did read it, the arrow pointed to a totally different counter. I then gave her my package and pulled up my QR code for the return. She scanned it, but I guess it didn't work, because she barked at me again. "You can't return this here!" I was confused and showed her the email where it said I could return the package at any Staples. She told me that I must have been wrong because the QR code didn't scan correctly. I asked, "Okay, where can I return this, then? Do I have to go to a different Staples?" She said, "Let me scan it again," and that time, it worked. I was finally able to return my package but it was a very frustrating and unpleasant experience. I am disappointed by the customer service here. I am not a Karen -- I work in customer service myself and understand that everybody has bad days -- but Juliann's attitude was unacceptable. It put a damper on my whole afternoon.

One of the rudest customer service representative I’ve ever dealt with!! Stood by the file cabinets for almost 7 minutes not one person came back to assist. I walk to the front and ask for help, the lady at the front instantly rolled her eyes at about 5 times and told me to give her a minute and preceded to roll her eyes a few more times. So I decided to just go somewhere else.

Juliann should be fired immediately. We walked in trying to get tsa pre check. And she immediately yelled at us, and had a very pointed tone. Yelling at us to back up and wait. Was not verbal to us about the process. While waiting for someone to come help us, we noticed her yell at a customer to come to the cash register. Garrett however was very nice and helped the process run smoothly.
