Worst post office. I got a package stolen. So I went to report it and I got the runaround. Not to mention there is no picture to show delivery! Everyone else proves it was delivered. So how do I know the mail person just did not rip me off!!!

The Absolute Worst Post Office I unfortunately am forced to deal with is Hammond, IN. I would give zero stars if that were an option. Flip a coin if they decide to deliver your mail or packages today, tomorrow or even next week. Who knows? Don't waste your time calling the USPS Phone Representatives. They give you cookie-cutter defensive excuses with zero real information. If you track packages they state attempted delivery when no mail vehicle ever came down the street. Cameras don't lie. They just decide not to deliver and mark it attempted. Worst Service of all post offices I deal with.

I went in today 07/22/2020. The woman at the counter was very rude. She came to the side door and condescendingly told us there were too many people in the lobby. They don’t have clear social distancing markings in the lobby and expect people to know where to stand. The door clearing says 10 people allowed but she made 2 of us leave. I ask her where should we stand. She showed us 2 pieces of postal tape on the floor that was not clearly marked and the floor was filthy. She slammed the door in another patrons face, left without our answered question. I suggest this woman should be fired for being rude to the patrons. There were also old folks in there who were unclear as of why she was speaking to us that way. There were also people who leaving out of there displeased with her service. This is my first and last time coming here.
