- DDdahui1791Jan 20, 20261.0I know its cliche' to complain about USPS but coming from West Michigan to Fort Wayne area, I am shocked how slow mail is here. If it gets any slower, its averaging close to the time frame it took for mail to go from 1 side of the country to the other (a month) about 150 plus years ago when it traveled by train. Insane. And I guess its all because of Indianapolis? Now when I see a package or letter is going through that hub, I know it will be a long while before I get it. I now avoid using US Mail for anything like I'm avoiding The Plague even if I have to pay way extra for UPS or Fedex.

I went inside, getting close to quitting time. It was my turn up , and I explained to the clerk, my stupid error. He asked me to step aside, and will help me after the line diminishes, he will help me. Now it was my turn. He knew exactly what to do and we went outside he used the keys to open up the mailbox. And there it was. The pink envelope, the birthday card for my older sister. We grapped and took it inside and made the correction. I purchased the postage Forever Stamp books. I then put the proper postage on it. I saw a smile come across his face. Yes, I messed up. But experience and compassion spoke to me. I was thankful. I know my sister, received the birthday card just in time for her birthday. Thank you
