- DCDaniel ColeMay 13, 20241.0The Fairmount USPS office is not honoring a refund we were told we would receive. After dropping off a package, my wife and I decided the rates were too expensive, so on the same that we dropped it off, we asked for the package back and a refund. We were told we would receive one, we just had to fill out a form online. Since then, we sought a refund online and called the 800 number, and we were told that we must get a refund from the store, since the store printed the shipping label. I have been to the store several times, and despite leaving my contact information repeatedly, the acting manager is always out of the officer and has never contacted me. I was just informed, after a month, that there was nothing they do for us. Despite never shipping the package, despite being assured that I would receive a refund, the USPS has simply absorbed about 80 dollars leaving me with no recourse. I have found the staff management unhelpful and unprofessional.
