Wish I could say the same thing about the little African American (Female) Mail Carrier, who temporarily works within the 3500 Block of Guthrie st. Why doesn't she keep the mail in the mail bag while it's raining? Then pull it out when she gets to the mailbox? Now? Your mail is soaking wet. (Also?) Why doesn't she use the sidewalk instead of walking across my Flower Beds in order to deliver your mail? I hope to see my Flowers this year. I hope she has not stomped my Bulbs into the ground 😡

I am happy to say that the other individuals from both East Chicago locations, have now retired!! Now, we have new younger staff. Forgive me if that’s a horrible comparison, but then generation we will in today encourages proper communication. These new people carry on a conversation, they are friendly, and they are definitely there to help you; they are not upset or bitter (yet)! I hope these individuals continue being the familiar faces for the years to come, even if I don’t go to the post office that many times in a year. Thank you, upper management, for taking the time to see who was already working for you, and hopefully see this position as a promotion… customer service, is not easy!! Thanks again — PS, thank you for taking the extra time for finding the black envelope that my dad said was to be returned to sender! -FC
