- CTChelsea TrumbullJan 1, 20181.0Unfortunately, because it's the only post office, the people of Churubusco are left at the mercy of this USPS office. I had on 2 separate occasions, less than a month apart, packages SHOVED/crushed into our mailbox. These said packages were to large and left exposed to thieves and rain... And it did rain and soak a package. No one else in the world is allowed to do their job halfway, why should the postal service? You wouldn't want the McDonald's server to say, "Sorry. I didn't feel like cooking your burger, but it's in a bun," or a doctor to say, "Well, I got your appendix out, but I don't feel like closing your belly." Also, the hours are unpredictable and incredibly inconvenient. Always "closed" during lunch hour... When business people go to the post office... To mail things. Why would you close during peak business hours? Typical government entity I guess. Are you okay with this? I don't think so. I don't think so.
