There's no 0 star button so 1 star it is. Waited for an hour in the lobby to pick up the package, at the end of which an employee came out with an attitude that they are now "closed", despite initially being open. Why is there even a bell if you are not going to respond to it?

This is how this post office delivers packages. Even if they didn't do it themselves, which I'm not sure of at this point. Why would someone put a damaged package with shards of glass coming out of it in someone's mailbox? They didn't even apologize. Horrible customer service.

Our postal carrier is great! However, the desk and office staff at the post office itself is lackluster. Service is slow and effort is... well... just not there. Placed a 30 x day hold--per USPS policy, they deliver the mail after the hold ends. They did NOT. Came to the post office to pick up the mail--the staff says they don't know where it's at but that it will be delivered the next day. One week later, I return to my home to get the mail--it is NOT there, again. Return to the post office, first person at the front desk says "It's not here." I ask for a manager, and then miraculously, he finds the mail. But now he says he can't release it. Manager (Courtney B) says per protocol, she can't release the mail to me but will have it delivered. I asked why protocol was skipped on the two other occasions the mail should've been delivered and she has no credible answers. She moved at a snails pace throughout everything--just no care in the world for her primary focus... which is ensuring SLA's are met for a service our tax dollars subsidize. It is no wonder why USPS burns cash with the middle management representation I saw today. Carrier = great people, great effort Office + Desk Staff (Management) = slow, no effort, just going through the motions to get to the end of their day. Show some care and effort... it'll go a long way.

Poor Experience with Passport Application at USPS Carmel. I had a very disappointing experience with my passport application at USPS. I specifically asked whether I needed to attach my original passport when applying for a new one, but the passport agent told me it wasn’t necessary. As a result, they sent my documents without the required materials, and now my passport application is on hold. It seems the staff were not properly informed about the correct process. I would strongly recommend applying or renewing your passport through another location to avoid unnecessary delays and frustration.
