We live on a well maintained quarter mile lane and the new post lady will not come back to deliver. Both of us are retired, so if any of our dogs are out, which none of them are mean spirited, she could honk and we will come out! The frustrating thing is that the UPS man and the FedEx folks have absolutely no problem delivering to our house. We have a great relationship! We have talked to leadership at Post Office and service improves for a very short time, then back to no deliveries at house and items stuffed and crammed in our mailbox! This time it was perishable cheese I ordered special from Wisconsin! It has been sitting at the Post Office for 3 days now from “animal interference” on Saturday morning, when both of us were home. I am a big supporter of keeping the US Postal Service going, but at this totally unreliable rate, we would be better off with closure of Butlerville, with reliable delivery and kindness from North Vernon or Versailles.
