- TCTy CDec 17, 20251.0"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds" Cannot be said about the Brookville USPS. They should just stick to delivering junk mail. That's about the limit of their competence. Delivery of amazon and packages are above their competence. You can have your driveway and mail box accessible and your mail person will still not deliver if it's too cold or a little snow. Walks can be salted and they still won't get out of their truck. Or if it's raining they just leave your mail letters on your deck rather than putting the letters in the mail box. If you have any packages that will not fit in your mail box, they will leave your regular mail envelopes out in the elements with the delivered box. Constantly getting your neighbors mail is always an issue. Threshold to deliver the mail must be pretty low. If there is ever a vote to close the post office, I'm all for it. Waste of tax payer funding and can't support itself on its collected revenues. Especially when they operate with such incompetence.

People order things online all the time to other addresses other than their own so if I order a package to Brookeville which I do often it should be delivered to address I put for delivery. But because my address is in Cincinnati they send it to my address on file. These are packages from companies online. Nothing government, just online ordering just made a HUGE mistake for using USPS for my deliveries. They are not delivering to address I'm ordering the packages to in Brookeville. Instead Brookeville post office is sending them to Cincinnati & charging me an Xtra delivery fees. A couple packages have been sent back to where I ordered them from me losing postage I already paid. I'm not having this trouble with any deliveries I recently used choosing fed ex and UPS. They are delivering the packages where I asked the packages to be delivered. But USPS can't seem to understand when ordering online it's not always coming to me, I shop for other people as well. Just a big mess that's completely unavoidable if they would just deliver the packages where the package states it should be delivered to, there'd be no issues. Lesson Learned!!
