Today my parents applied for their U.S. passports, and we are extremely satisfied with the experience. The staff was very kind, professional, and helpful. The whole process was quick and smooth.
The Vernon Hills USPS truly stands out compared to other locations. I have never experienced unfriendly service or any difficulties there.

I am submitting a formal complaint regarding my recent experience at your location involving an employee named Jesus Posada.
I arrived for a scheduled passport appointment and was treated in a manner that I found extremely unprofessional, intimidating, and disrespectful. Mr. Posada spoke to me in a way that made me feel uncomfortable and humiliated. His behavior escalated to the point that I felt harassed, and I ultimately had to contact the police. A police report was filed.
During the incident, Mr. Posada’s manager came out to address the situation. However, Mr. Posada reached over her and loudly stated, “I am canceling her appointment. This is my station.” This conduct was inappropriate and alarming.
Unfortunately, the supervisor who was present did not de-escalate the situation and instead made matters worse. She left the area and refused to provide her name to either myself or the responding police officer.
I strongly encourage USPS to review the recent Google reviews for this location, as they show that I am not the only customer who has had a hostile and disrespectful encounter with Mr. Posada. This appears to be a pattern of behavior, not an isolated incident.
This guys is aggressive and mentally unstable.
I am requesting that this matter be formally investigated and addressed. No customer should be treated this way when attending a routine government appointment.

The staff at this postal service is just rude for no reason. I have been there twice and was treated unprofessionally both time by different staff. It was like me being there gives them additional work. I am sure they are happy with all the negative reviews, as less people will come to the location.
