- BUB UDec 10, 20251.0I am Asian, and in my eight years living in the U.S., i have never experienced discrimination like i did today. I visited the office at 3:40 PM on Wednesday, 12/10/2025. When I approached the counter, the employee named Jesus (based on his name tag) was on his phone and did not acknowledge me until i was already standing in front of him. I asked about mailing options, including what registered mail means. He reacted dismissively and seemed confused by my question. When i asked about common tracking options and prices differences, he weighed my envelope and showed the prices on the display, then suddenly raised his voice, waived his arms, and told me to “look at his eyes (haha), not the display,” in front of other customers. It felt disrespectful and discriminatory. Earlier, i had mentioned that i did not want to use the old envelope because it already had another address on it. Later, when another employee tried to assist me, Jesus interrupted and insisted i didn’t need a new envelope. When I explained again, he said, “MAYBE MY ENGLISH IS BAD” in dismissive tone. The other employee men stepped in and told him not to act that way. I felt feeling very disappointed. Please ensure customers are treated respectfully.
