One of the few FedEx places open till 8:30pm. This location serves a big part of North Chicago deliveries. Unfortunately FedEx never deliver packages with signature at apartment buildings. One has to go to pick up at that location. Be ready with ID with your name and address, proof of address etc otherwise your package won't be released.

So because I didn’t get the proper follow up or resolution to my concerns, I decided the best way for resolution is to leave a review.
I ordered a package and unfortunately the only carrier the company uses is FedEx. My package had an original expected delivery date for Thursday but I received notification that the package would instead be delivered on Friday. My package was again delayed and moved for delivery for Saturday. Mind you, their system states they do not deliver on weekends and I should have followed my gut and picked the package up from the facility, instead I allowed them to “deliver” my order, I mean why not, I paid to have it delivered. Well my package was marked as delivered and an image was provided of nothing but a blacked out screen which I can guarantee was a photo of the driver covering the camera. I checked not only my building but the neighboring buildings for my order. Strike one: why are you telling your customers to check with neighbors in case it was delivered to the wrong home? Honestly that’s not my problem. I communicated with not only FedEx but the seller and FedEx’s response was, we will do an investigation. Now if they did an actual investigation they would know my building requires being buzzed in thru a call box. There is no record of the driver completing the call. And in the event they are let in by someone else, there is a designated package area specifically labeled PACKAGE AREA as soon as you walk in the building with a designated code to shipping drivers, signature required. You can probably guess, they never accessed the code. I filed a claim and complaint against the company and the driver and Fedexs initial response was that the driver was unresponsive about the drop off location for my order. Red flag number one. They then advised they would check the route to see where the driver was at the time of my drop off and check the truck for my order. Mind you this was days after the complaint, yall know my package is no in that truck still. I called back for an update and was advised “unfortunately it is unlikely they recover my order” and I would need to partner with the seller to seek a refund. They also stated they’d have a conversation with the driver about the photo for future purposes. Negative. This will not go down as a learning experience to my dime. I called back in to further escalate and was advised someone would follow up with me by end of day. You guessed it, no call. So guess what… until they hold their company and associate responsible, I’m taking every measure until I get a proper resolution.
Moving forward, if I see FedEx as the shipping company, that company doesn’t have to worry about me being a customer.

This FedEx station is easy to get to if you have a car. There is able parking out front. It was staffed by 2 workers that were efficient and ask the right questions in order to retrieve your parcel. Just make sure you have your tracking numbers. If you do it makes life easy for you and the staff that’s trying to assist you. Also I was in and out in no time.
No waiting or long lines.
