Completely petty and uncalled for. Why not do something so very small as a way of showing you provide good customer service and actually care about your customers... instead of trying to make a dollar off of people and leaving them with a bad experience that they will share with others. It is not about the dollar... it's about how pathetic and petty doing that is to the public. One tiny piece of tape! Wow! Not a smart business practice... especially when your overhead on that is probably less than a penny. I also visit the UPS Store not too far away at 2364 Essington Rd. in Joliet and I see people in front of me CONSTANTLY needing tape on boxes and huge envelopes and EVERY time the employees provide it and NEVER charge the customer. THAT is one example of great customer service. I can't believe places charge for something so miniscule.
