  3/14/25 Mon 6p: Came in to renew my passport bc I heard it was faster than the post office; I explained that I was in a hurry to renew it. On the kiosk it said there was a $211.36 government fee on top of the passport fee. I asked the older employee about this and he said it may apply but he wasn't sure, and that they don't have information on pricing (??). He said the info on the kiosk should explain it, and walked away. I asked the other employee and he said the same. The 1st guy cut in and said to call the FedEx customer service number about it and walked away again. He didn't explain the renewal process when I asked about it either; he just said "You do it online". He said they generally just do passport photos and offered to do that. He seemed like he was in a hurry to cut the convo off like he was busy, and after this both employees were just chatting to each other. Totally Disingenuous and Useless.

  This FedEx at Hyatt Hotel imposes predatory fees on guests for receiving packages. At other Hyatt locations worldwide, you can have a package sent to the hotel and pick it up without issue. However, at this location, you’re required to collect your package from the FedEx office, where you must pay an additional receiving fee based on weight—on top of the regular delivery cost. For example, I received two envelopes from Amazon and was charged $4 each just for receiving them. If your package is heavier, the fees will be significantly higher. Worse yet, if you refuse the shipment, they’ll still charge you a return fee. This practice is blatantly exploitative and warrants a one-star rating for anyone staying here and expecting to receive packages at the hotel.

  The BEST FedEx printing - I work around Chicagoland and am always stopping in to pick prints up at this particular location because they are so great. Always get my orders 100% correct, faster than promised, and are super friendly and efficient.
