I was recently asked to leave a home I rented for over 22 years that I wasn’t prepared for so I’m basically homeless…yes crazy right not the point. I was told by my mail carrier to place a hold on my mail for the next 30 days until I could change my address so I went there to do so. I was met by a white woman with glasses who assisted me with no problem and I was able to come after the first week to retrieve my mail. Once I did I was met by a white bald man who told me I had to come back in 7 days to place another hold after I already requested 30 days. So when I returned to pick up my mail and to place said “hold” as instructed a black woman told me I couldn’t do that and that it’s only for people going out of town even after I explained to her it’s me and my entire families mail that were asking for. I also told her the home will not receive mail as it is now boarded up and being sold. Our old landlord spitefully took the mailbox off the house so our mail wouldn’t be delivered. Now it’s been a month of mail in the air and yet the very thing this manager told me to do has not been done. I haven’t been contacted like she said I would. I don’t have a new address or financial means to get a P.O. Box right away. Which I will do soon but it doesn’t makes sense you can’t inquire with a direct mail room for mail that has returned. Now I believe everything has been returned to senders and she and her staff didn’t place my inquiry to the right department or at all. I’m frustrated and it has left a bad taste in my mouth. It’s like everyone don’t know what procedure is the right one. Now for more context this was literally one week after I moved out so I’m confused on why I couldn’t get my mail with all I’m identification I had to prove it was mine.! I had to move on New Year’s Eve and I’ve been in a hotel since. It’s now Feb 4 and my hold started January 5 th to February 5th so I’m very displeased with their incompetence. I have not received anything not an email..phone call…just nothing!!

Recently 2 long-term (30 years & 28 years I believe) employees have retired & this location has NOT been the same. Newman gets the job done & although not the warmest individual, he's vey quick in my opinion & I don't experience moodiness with him like I do the new woman, ANGELA. Angela isn't that so brand new up front, but is now permanent within the last 6 months. She is often left alone after 3-4 p.m. and the waiting line is often very LONG & she is very SLOW. She will be bubbly & laughing & even has the nerve to apologize to someone she's taking so long with, but has never apologized to me about my wait. I'm an extremely low maintenance customer, but must frequent this location due to what I do for a living. So, when she gets moody-from now on, those smiley faces you check on the screen will be according to her behavior & not guilt to leave a happy face... On a side note... There has been a trend that is very bad for any kind of customer that does business & needs their packages going out the same day... I have noticed now that all the time, if you don't have a clerk scan your package in person, it will sit in the back until the next day when dropping off in the mail bins inside. Very bad & lazy service. And, no scans on packages left on the weekends early Monday morning anymore. Why not??? You USPS guys keep giving yourself raises every year & surcharges during the holidays for awful & often late deliveries. You are undeserving of continuous raises & giving sub-par service!!!

The old guy that works here is an absolute jerk. He has refused to mail a package twice because he falsely claimed what I was shipping wasn’t allowed (tools). It felt like some dumb weird power struggle where he just wanted to deny me shipping. I checked the laws before and after, and yes, it is 100% allowed to ship as long as you package everything safely, which they were. Worst service I’ve ever received.

Never know when there will be a mail worker delivering mail. I just recently been checking cameras on days of no mail delivered and not one single mail person walking up and down street and no mail vehicle either. Be nice to be let known if there will be a mailman or not so we can go pick up our mail.
