- ACAC CJan 10, 20261.0I was there this morning to apply for a passport. I researched everyrhing I need b4 going. The government website clearly stated that my Cerificate of Naturalization and Valid Foreign Passport can serve as my identification. But the lady would not accept my application because I have a temporary driver's license (waiting for my license to be mailed). So does she mean people who don't drive can't apply for a US passport? ... Even when I told her the government website states all the other ids I brought with me are all valid, she just says No! How frustrating when the one at the counter is either not knowledgeable, don't want to do their job or just plain tripping! So I went to Champaign post office to apply and had no problem whatsoever! ... I will forward this complaint to the travel state government website!
