- LTLeah TanabeJan 13, 20261.0Anytime you see your package go through Palatine, gird your loins and turn on the Benny Hill theme. My husband and I have had issues with them for YEARS. The first time that really stood out was Christmas of 2023 – we put together a gift package for a friend in Canada (we’re in McHenry county), including some homemade cookies, and sent it. Due to an error with the recipient’s address, Canada sent it back/retuned to sender, where it landed in Palatine. For the next MONTH, Palatine sent the package to various Chicagoland post offices, who would send it back to Palatine…who would send it back out to another random post office again. By the time the returned package actually made it to us, the cookies were becoming dust. At the moment, my husband is waiting for a package he ordered from Pennsylvania. Came in from Indianapolis to Palatine. Palatine then sent it back to Indianapolis within an hour of arrival at their facility. Indianapolis sent it back to Palatine. Palatine just sent it back to Indianapolis a 2nd time…whoever the heck is in charge of running this place needs a serious wake-up call.
