DO NOT waste your money on the roadside assistance. Using the roadside assistance for the first time today and it was a NIGHTMARE! On my way to work today before 5 AM I got a flat tire on the freeway. First it took about 30 minutes just to navigate their online system just to request "roadside rescue". Got an ETA of 5:30. Almost 6:00 and still no help, I contacted the roadside assistance to find out they cancelled my request! They restarted the request and cancelled it again. This went on for almost 2 hours! When I asked them why they keep cancelling my service request, they said because they don't provide services when it's dark, they don't provide services when it's snowing or raining (it was lightly snowing this morning), they don't provide services if you're broke down on the freeway or side of the road. It's "too dangerous" for them to change a flat tire or tow your car if the car is on the side of the road, they will only change a tire or tow if you're in a parking lot or driveway and only between sunrise and sunset. It's "too dangerous" for the people who have hi-vis vests, the people who dive a truck with emergency lights on top it's "too dangerous" for them to do what they're being paid to do, but it's fine for members to stay on the side of the road for over 2 hours waiting for help that's not coming? I ended up calling a different company, they had a guy to me within 10-15 minutes, he took off my flat tire and put on my spare without hesitation right there on the side of the freeway.
After finally getting my flat tire changed to the spare and getting home (Allstate stressed me out so much I called off work) I called Allstate to make a complaint and to discontinue my roadside assistance services. It took over an hour and several hang-ups and callbacks to get a REAL person on the phone because the Allstate customer service is mainly AI.

Has the 'application black hole' become the new norm? I recently applied for a role that seemed like a perfect match, only to receive a generic 'moving in another direction' email with zero context or feedback. We talk a lot about 'candidate experience,' but that should start from the moment someone hits submit. It’s incredibly draining to spend time tailoring a resume and cover letter only to be met with a brick wall of silence or a template rejection. Especially when applying for several positions and getting turned down for every single one. A little transparency goes a long way in making candidates feel like more than just a number. Do better!

Their tactics were to keep changing adjusters every a few weeks and starting over the review process. This predatory tactics gave me nightmares and anxiety.
I had about 14 allstate adjusters for only one claim. They still own me for electrical repairs.
Black family recieved a full amount within a week and their house was repaired within 1 month.
My claim took almost a whole year.
I could say it is a racism.
Horrible, horrible experience.

Read all the reviews on Allstate here, google, yelp, etc,all so bad. They are a very dishonest company. They sent me a check for $1000 based on their low estimate with errors, thinking I will cash it to settle. The estimates I got for the damage from three local shops was from $3000-4700 even with one of their preferred shops, they think they can use dirty money to buy off people with low ball settlements with errors in their estimates. They are unfair, unethical, and dishonest. They are riddled with errors, do not respond back well, and play so many games. Not a reputable company, see for yourself on the BBB or Consumer Affairs websites, they have the worst reviews, now I know why. Beware of this bad company!

So, ti's is my story. My Dad passed away on Christmas Eve 2025, and I informed my father's local insurance agency of his passing, they lied to me and told me that until I sold my Dad's car I had to keep his insurance policy active. Which I knew to be a lie, but I had to do some driving on it to get it ready for sale. Now once I did sell it, I went back to the local agent and told them I was there for a retro-active refund and the slime ball in the back under the guise of a refund asked me for my routine number and my back account number "so they could refund me." Come to find out there was a balance due which shouldn't have been since he was DEAD, and they knew this. Illegally took my money to pay the balance and not give me a refund. So here I am today informing you that you should not do business with them. Because now I called to get my portion back that they illegally acquired and they told me even after I supplied my Dad's death certificate that now I had to be executor, which the Orphans Court told me if it was under 20k I didn't have to. So they are refusing to step in and fix the wrong done to me and say that until I get the required document, which isn't need under the government which they think they're in charge of instead of vice versa. They refuse to give me even my portion back. Find a better insurance company because your NOT SAFE IN THEIR Hands.
So, I'm adding to my review since it seems like Allstate likes playing games. I've been speaking to a former prosecutor and she told me that what the Allstate employee did was a felony called theft by deception. They pretend to care they reached out and told me to contact someone I did and they sent me to life insurance. When I mentioned in every conversation about it being automotive related. So I plan on speaking to a da, and also look to see how many other people you've done this to. Especially when people are grieving.
