Looking for help! I have a mail carrier Sarah who just doesn’t deliver my mail when she feels like it. She put packages at my door angled so I can’t open my front door. I have a 30x30 landing the pkgs can be place anywhere on there. Every other carrier does exactly that. They aways place it on the ground away from my door. This USPS carrier is jamming my door. My screen door broke because because I couldn’t open the door to get the package. Which endangers my family in case of an emergency. I have a disabled family member. This is scary! I spoke to her and asked her PLEASE not do that because in case of emergency I need to get out safely. She told me if I didn’t like to call and complain like I did before. So obviously holding on to a past issue. I spoke to the Mgr. Valerie at the USPS office. She then called me later and told me the mail carrier stated I threatened her and wrote a statement. Which Never Happened. Now I have to pick up my package at the post office. I have to be inconvenienced because of her incompetence. I spoke to Jessica Easton in Consumer’s affairs. I was told they would investigate it. She said she spoke to the Mgr. Valerie that said. “It’s her word against mine”. Although I’ve made several complaints about mail not being delivered and whats happening with my packages. They assured me they would work with me. They did nothing. So my complaint about my mail or packages didn’t matter. They closed my case With out my knowledge. No call back. I keep leaving messages. It’s ignored. 2 years ago the same mail carrier wasn’t delivering my mail or packages. I would get notifications by email that I would have something coming that day. After calling She would tell the Mgr. that she delivered it. I caught her on camera PASSING MY HOME without delivery it. They caught her lying and then the problem was solved. Until recently my problems started all over again. I thought it was just me she had the problem with. Come to find out my neighbors have the same issue and have made several complaints about the same issue. I just want to say my other regular mail carriers are so nice. One actually stop to apologize to me. He said I rarely see you and when I do you and your husband are so nice. Any other employment agency human resource would fix issue or not tolerate this kind of behavior in a work environment. If anyone has any advice on how I can resolve this. It would be greatly appreciated. If anyone from USPS can read this complaint New Lenox Post office is the worst at helping customers.

Post Office held my customer's package hostage, due to them mistakenly rounding "up" a measurement, when the DMM (Domestic Mail Manual) clearly states to round "off" measurements on non-rectangular packages (a cylinder in this case) I told the clerk (Laura) exactly where in the manual this information is located and she responded, "I've been doing this for 20 years, I don't need you to tell me what you think the manual says" I then asked for the postmaster and pointed out in the manual where this information was, they then proceeded to tell me that there was not enough postage paid for the weight (clearly realizing that they were in the wrong on the dimensions matter and now needed another issue to lean on) and that it needed "7lbs of postage to be paid" The shipping label itself stated "7lbs postage paid" After pointing this out, the postmaster went back and discussed this with her clerk, at which point they went BACK to the measurement argument (obviously after finding out that they were, again, wrong) telling me that my package fell outside of the accepted measurements. This is simply untrue as we mail out hundreds of these packages every month and they are the same dimensions every time. I even had one order that was packaged exactly the same way and measured it out and finally they are now releasing the package to my customer, almost a week after the promised delivery date. I was not offered a refund for my priority mail package, and was hung up on after the issue was resolved. If you can help it, I'd steer wide and clear of this Post Office.

They're always rude here. Shaquita was extremely sassy when I tried to mail my flat rate box. As soon as I asked a single question, she goes off and then yells that I can speak to a supervisor. The old lady that works here is just as unpleasant. Don't go here. They're also extremely slow processing any transaction.
