Every WEEK, i receive around 2-3 pieces of personal mail that belong to other people/units. I personally have had 3 packages (that were for me) delivered to other units and buildings around me. The numbers on our buildings are GIANT. 207 on the door should not look like 211 or 210..or even 209, but I could be wrong if you need a prescription. Not only is the sorting HORRIBLE here, but the man and woman that deliver the mail dont even check themselves. Also - I had cholesterol medication sent to me that was late, and they would not bother the carrier to look for. Funny thing is i received it 3 weeks letter all bent out of shape because it was shoved/stuck in the bottom of one of their bins in the truck....I have made a complaint in person where the woman at the counter goes "we have received complaints about this deliverer before...I guess I should write this one down too". UH YEAH YOU SHOULD. If you plan on mailing a letter through this branch that needs to get somewhere within a week, dont. Go to the next branch. Expect AT LEAST a 10-day lead-time between your drop off to someone receiving your mail. I dropped off a letter on Monday morning and it was not stamped for Naperville processing until that thursday...but they SHOULD be emptying those bins the daily at the times they have posted. Lets hope this branch does either go private or just shuts down. what a joke. How many more examples do you need of incompetence? I'm just one person at this community, i know there are more.
