I had a scheduled appointment for my passport renewal, but it was cancelled just 20 minutes beforehand because no agent was available. This was extremely inconvenient. In addition, the staff were rude and unprofessional when communicating the cancellation. I expect better planning and customer service for confirmed appointments.

Avoid Passport service at this location. First time I applied they lost my application. The second time I requested Expedited service and paid Expedited fee but the counter guy messed it up and selected Standard.

The experience was terrible. Will never go back to this one. Normally I check reviews before I go anywhere unfortunately I didn’t check the reviews for this post office and it was a nightmare. The desk guy clearly hates his job and everybody who comes through the door. I just hope my mail gets where it belongs and I’m really uncomfortable that I had anything mailed there. Now I have to be on pins and needles hoping my mail actually gets delivered where it belongs. What is the world coming to when you can’t trust your local Post Office.

DO NOT, and I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT SCHEDULE A PASSPORT APPOINTMENT AT THIS LOCATION. You will lose your time.
I scheduled a passport appointment and received a call canceling it. I was told by Erica that it was because “someone called off” and that I needed to reschedule online. I followed those instructions and rescheduled. The appointment was then canceled AGAIN for the exact same reason. Having an appointment canceled once is already disruptive. Having it canceled twice with the same explanation shows a serious lack of reliability and planning. It wasted my time and forced me to rearrange my schedule unnecessarily TWICE.
On February 11 at approximately 5:30 PM, I went in to purchase a money order. I politely asked the african american clerk at the counter. Instead of responding verbally, he simply shook his head. The gesture was unclear, so I had to ask, “No, what?” Only then did he say they did not have any money orders available. There was no explanation, no courtesy, and no effort to communicate clearly. The interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional.
It is infuriating that this is my local post office and it works like this. Employees at this facility unfortunately do not seem to understand what working means or what customer service is. If someone does not like their job or is that miserable, they can apply for another one. Basic professionalism should not be too much to ask.
