Window Clerk Deborah is always so nice and helpful. She even held off on her break as she wanted to finish our transaction, even though I had stepped away to fill out the mailer label. I think the Monee Post Office is lucky to have her!

I'm a small business owner who uses the USPS to deliver my customers orders and i spend thousands in shipping fees. However the Monee office has turned into a mean girls club of harrassing their customers over petty grievances. 6 months I have been scheduling pick ups and selecting ring the doorbell. It hasn't been a problem until the mail lady got pissed at me because she couldn’t take a mail tote I was still using for more orders that had to go to the post office later. She made up a fake rule that they have to take the totes if I schedule a pick up. But when I went inside to the building to ask about that I was told it by the mail lady the counter clerk that is not true because they want to serve their customers. I schedule again with doorbell being rang and I get a pick up when it's the young man doing my route. When it's the Mexican lady she won't do my pick ups. I had to do a run to the USPS on a day when I didn't really have the time to do a run. It set me back but I was respectful and mentioned I didn't get a pick up to the clerk and the post master called the mail lady. She claimed that they were not on the porch. They were by the door but I couldn’t let them sit outside the door because it was raining and the rain would have damaged the orders. That would have cost me money as these are orders that people paid for and the material would be severely damaged if it got wet. I explained to them that I cannot put people's orders outside on the ground in the rain. But they did not care. They just expect you to put your stuff outside on the ground to get damaged by the weather if you want a pickup now. A schedule for another pickup for this week and I scheduled to have the doorbell ring because it has been raining a lot every day and again I cannot have people's orders that they paid for outside in the rain getting damaged. And now the postmaster is calling me with another made-up fake rule of the mail carrier not being able to ring doorbells. And they are insisting that I put all these people's orders outside on the ground to be trampled on and get damaged by bad weather. I have orders ready to go but they will not pick them up unless I put them outside in the rain to be damaged. When I talk to the postmaster to ask why is it a option if it's not allowed when you schedule the pickup online on the US Post Office website? She claims they have to update it. Then I asked her then how come all of your mail carriers even if it's a different person than this one particular lady over the past 6 months has had no problem ringing the doorbell? And she claimed that nobody supposed to be doing that because she said nobody's allowed to ring a doorbell. So mail carriers that are delivering and picking up mail are now not allowed to ever ring doorbells. Lisa and the mail carrier are childish Petty and making it so difficult for black business owners. And then when we talked on the phone even though I wasn't done getting more information for future pickups she told me that she had to go and help other customers that are more important than me. I use the post office exclusively because I like to support federal jobs and I know that the US Post Office is struggling. But this behavior is so unprofessional. I am also a customer that is having an issue that I am trying to get resolved because there's been too many incidents of trying to make everything so difficult for me. It's starting to feel like I'm being targeted over a damn tote that does not even belong to Monee it belongs to the Matteson post office. I purposely went to Matteson to get tote so I did not put a strain on Monee. It’s clear that I am being gaslighted and they're trying with all their might to make things so difficult for me. I mean what else would it be to all of a sudden make things more difficult and try to destroy my business? I have lived in this town for over two decades and I can’t even trust my own post office. What is the world coming to? I just wanted to get my customers orders out and feed my family. Why be so awful to me?
