- KAKathy A.Feb 22, 20265.0We have a very nice post office in McHenry. The staff is efficient and helpful. Sometimes during the holidays, there are long lines, but that is to be expected. If you have a package with prepaid postage, you don't have to wait in line. You can just drop it off on one of the counters or put in the drop box. Best of all, postage rates have remained reasonable, even in these inflationary times.
- JNJonathen NaringsOct 28, 20251.0Shipped a package worth in excess of $3000 in July. It entered a USPS distribution center and never left. 3 months later, USPS sends me a check for $100. That doesn't even cover shipping. I have all the proof of what's in the package. It's on customs documents, packing list, etc. USPS tries placing the blame on different distribution centers, different post offices, even the customer....even after a USPS employee helped pack the parcel. Do the right thing, take the "L", and give me my money before another report is filed with OIG
