I called the post office. As the phone is ringing, I check my carport which is on the far side of the house, and found the package. Right then a lady answered and I said oh I'm sorry, I got a notification that my package was at the front door and it wasnt, but I just found it at my back door. I laughed and said so sorry again and while I was talking, she hung up on me. That was rude and unprofessional. Why was hanging up on me necessary? No ok, no goodbye, no nothing. Just hung up on me. One for horrible phone etiquette and 5 for Mail carrier always being cautious and careful with our Mail. Making the rating a 3.
- SWS WeldonDec 13, 20132.0I have been in to the post office a total of 4 times... Of those 4 times I had a RUDE person twice, an indifferent person once and and great person once. I will say the one person that was indifferent wasn't exactly friendly but she did let my 5 y/o daughter, whom was having a potty emergency, go where she was unauthorized and relieve herself.... I guess she figured a 5 y/o wasn't too big of a threat. But I will say that our mail has been very sporadic. Somedays we go without mail at all... And that NEVER happens. This last almost 2 weeks has been REALLY bad. We have a very nice mail lady but I guess something happened to her or she is on vacation and there hasn't been a regular replacement. Mail usually comes around noon and somedays it hasn't come until 5 or doesn't come at all... I had a package that was rerouted by USPS and gauranteed to me by tues and it is not fri and I sold the item on ebay and now I will be late and risk bad rating for shipping it off since I haven't gotten it. Tracking says it has been at the local station for 3 days. SOOOOO frustrating! THEY NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER!!!
