I skip the Champaign and Urbana post office locations and head back to Mahomet because of the friendly, professional, and efficient service. I rarely have to wait at this location, which is absolutely not the case in Champaign or Urbana.

The polite postal woman incorrectly stated they are for post office records only. When I asked for the box number and street address, they wrote it on a sticky note. A sticky note... They (there were two present at this point) were surprised that I didn’t know the street address and box number of my PO box i just opened. If I had the copies of the applications I signed, I wouldn’t have to ask this question... yes, I said this. I just moved to the city and state of Mahomet, Illinois, and am shocked that this post office does not behave as a federal government institution. It doesn’t open until 9 am.

Maybe instead of the good old boy system where you hire incompetent workers then promote them to incompetent post masters, you hire someone who knows what they are doing. It also doesnt matter how often you complain.

Quick in and out, they always call an extra clerk up when the line gets long where as some Champaign locations the line can be 20 people deep and still only one clerk. Only complaint is they don't open till 9am.
