⭐ 1 Star – Extremely Poor Experience I had a very frustrating and uncomfortable experience at this location. When I walked in, there were two employees. One of them, George, was already helping another customer but abruptly stopped assisting them and came over to me. This created an awkward situation where I felt like I was cutting in line, and I even had to apologize to the other customer. Completely unprofessional and unnecessary. When it was finally my turn, I provided a USB drive with a simple request: print two color pages on higher-quality paper. George initially claimed the files weren’t on the drive, even though they were clearly there. Another employee confirmed this shortly after—it seems he simply didn’t wait for the files to load. The prints were then done incorrectly (cropped improperly and not fit to the page), which is a basic setting. After struggling and needing help from another employee, they finally managed to print them correctly. Throughout this process, the attitude was disappointing—eye-rolling, dismissive behavior, and poor communication. What made the situation worse was the lack of hygiene. George was eating seeds behind the counter, repeatedly spitting shells into a trash can, and handling customer items—including my USB drive and prints—immediately afterward. This was extremely unsanitary and unacceptable in any customer-facing environment. To top it off, I was charged $12.67 for two prints due to “adjustments” that were never communicated in advance. This should have been disclosed beforehand. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience driven by poor service, lack of professionalism, and unacceptable hygiene practices. I would not recommend this location. Looking at their overall 3 star rating I can see that this location has a habit of poor performance.

We had such a great experience at FedEx Office in Lincolnwood! We live in the city but happened to be in the area to ship a machine, and I’m so glad we found this location. The facility was clean, organized, and welcoming. The staff was incredibly helpful, patient, and polite from start to finish—truly above and beyond customer service, something we honestly don’t experience often in the city. George, who assisted us, was exceptional. He gave us helpful tips, made sure our machine was properly packed and ready for shipping, and even offered candy to my child, which was such a kind and thoughtful touch. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in their work. Highly recommend this location if you’re looking for professional, efficient, and genuinely kind service!

UNFRIENDLY STAFF, NO HELP. He was being kind to an elder saying he's gonna make him feel young again. But he should do the same for all customers. I gotta go to a different location.

I’m writing to share a recent experience at one of your local FedEx locations that left me feeling genuinely hurt and disappointed. From the moment I approached the counter, the associate assisting me made me feel like I was an inconvenience. I’m not very familiar with different paper types, so when he asked what kind I needed, I tried my best to explain. I heard another customer refer to “card stock,” and I asked if that was the correct name so I could be more knowledgeable next time. His response was, “I don’t know, I don’t usually work this side,” delivered with dismissive tone and body language. He then told me they were busy and that I could take the card stock to the self-service printer and “do it myself.” Unfortunately, I’m not very experienced with those machines either. Thankfully, another associate stepped in and assisted me with patience and professionalism. When I later asked the original associate about a cutting station, he pointed me toward it in a smug manner. What made the situation more painful was observing how warm, friendly, and even playful he was with other customers during their transactions. I’m not asking for jokes or special treatment — just the same patience and respect extended to everyone else. As I left, I noticed him outside smoking, which made the earlier comment about being “too busy” feel even more dismissive. I’m not sure why I was treated differently, and I can only speculate. However, no customer should walk away feeling belittled for asking basic questions. I hope this feedback encourages reflection and reinforces the importance of consistent, respectful customer service for all.
