- SMSam McKSep 20, 20251.0Came to this PO because a neighboring town *had* even worse service. Now, I can safely say, both locations are equally atrocious. The "fight-or-flight" instincts start pinging hard near the entrance. To explain, if you have a PO Box at this location, you can use the PO's physical address as a shipping address. My packages somehow arrive with the packing tape torn, either from tampering or sabotage, and they have been given to me *MORE THAN A MONTH LATER* from the date they were received. The date my packages were received were written on the package. There were no notifications in my PO Box until over a month later. This is ridiculous, because it's not USPS mail and requires minimal processing. It almost seems like intentional acts of pettiness. As for the guy at the front desk? Quite a lot of negative things have been said about him- most of which are true. If he likes you, he'll even hard-sell the most expensive mailing options for your parcel. Can't wait for his retirement. Given the current atmosphere, I understand how things might be getting more challenging for the USPS employees. I don't mean to smear all of them, because there are some who are pleasant. But I won't pull punches- over the years, management and a few, specific individuals have certainly earned their reputation with utter disregard to any efforts of improving anything. Do better.
