The worst experience. The woman working 11-21-2025 in the afternoon has one of the worst attitudes I have ever experienced. She was rude and unprofessional and just mean. Definitely needs some training on how to deal with customers. It wasn’t the customers fault she was working at the postal office.

One star is only because I can't give zero. The last 2 times I have been to this post office I have had to deal with the same rude woman at the desk. She is unprofessional and lazy. She is condescending and tells you everything about your package is wrong but refuses to offer any guidance. Today, she flat out refused to help me and stated, "I don't do that" when I asked if I can get a label printed. Even if she couldn't do that, a simple explanation is part of the job. This is the closest post office but I will be traveling further now if needed just so I can avoid this awful human. If doing her job is too much of a bother, then its time to retire.

Came in today and the lady at the front desk extremely rude telling people she doesn’t have time for customers that aren’t 100% ready and talks over them and then tells them to move out the way. Also, got on a customer for not saying how is she doing. Just unbelievable how crap the customer service is here. I will be filing a formal complaint to USPS.

Horrendous, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable service! I visited the Harwood Heights Post Office on October 28, 2025, around 3:25 PM, and the older woman at the counter was shockingly rude, disrespectful, and completely unfit to serve the public. She acts as if customers are incapable of understanding even the simplest instructions, and she doesn’t bother to handle packages herself. She gives condescending commands like “put it here, put it there,” in a way that is humiliating and unnecessary. At the end of my visit, I expressed my frustration with a face showing my displeasure — and she clearly took offense. Now it feels like she has me “marked” and holds a grudge. Today I returned later to simply ask for a receipt, she made faces, sighed loudly, and refused to serve me. Her bitter, hostile, and discriminatory attitude is evident to anyone who comes to the counter, and she should never be allowed to work in public-facing customer service. For comparison, I’ve visited the Northlake Post Office, where the staff are courteous, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Harwood Heights is the complete opposite — disrespectful, unprofessional, and unpleasant. I strongly urge someone in authority to read this and take immediate action. Customers deserve respect, professionalism, and basic decency, not hostility and humiliation from those representing the U.S. Postal Service.

Incredibly rude staff. Didn’t get her name but she’s an older woman who spoke down to everyone in line. Then when I stated that at the other post office I’ve been to they required a sticker for my package, she told me “you should go to that post office then”. Avoid this location at all costs.
