We have a lot of baby chicks that come in for our store and often times they will call us before they open to let us know our babies are in so we can get them food and water sooner than later. These ladies go above and beyond!!

I have since moved back to Hamel, but even during my exile to E’ville, sometimes I’d drive the extra 10 miles to use the Hamel Post Office. This is nothing against the fine folks at the Edwardsville branch, but like so many things in my adopted home town, the staff at the Hamel Post Office embodies the very best of small town America: personal, personable, & professional. In short, you just couldn’t ask for better service or nicer people.
