  Employees are always very nice but RJ went above and beyond irregular employee, I mistakenly brought a package that was supposed to be brought to FedEx. Not only did RJ print my label he put it in a plastic label container to go to FedEx taped up my bag, no questions asked. Terrific young man. UPS is lucky to have him.

  This store is an absolute ripoff. I had 3 boxes of shoes that were to be returned to Zappos.com, with the prepaid return being free. I packed the 3 pairs of shoes in the original 2 Zappos shipping boxes (one pair of shoes and one box and the other two pairs in a larger box). When the store employee scanned the QR code to print the prepaid label, he said it wasn’t going to work since there was only one label and there were two boxes. I told him that this was how Zappos’s shipped me the shoes. I asked him if he had a solution or a suggestion. He said I could purchase a bigger box and we could put the three pairs of shoes in the one box and use the one return label. I agreed and he must’ve measured the three boxes together literally 10 times. He finally figured out what size box he needed and printed out the receipt for me to pay. The total came to almost $23. I couldn’t believe that one box would be $23. I looked at my receipt and the box itself was $12 and then there was another almost $6 charge for shipping supplies. I asked him what the charge for the shipping supplies was for? He said that’s for the tape for the box. Really??…you can buy an entire roll of shipping tape for that price. Then there was another packing charge on the receipt for several more dollars. Might has well have been listed as “additional overcharge”. I did not fight it, as I had planned on calling Zappos‘s customer service afterwards and see if they could credit me the $23 in addition to my shoe return credit. When I spoke with Zappos, they said they had no way to credit me that amount and that was how that UPS store worked, as they have no control over them. I then told them they should not advertise free return shipping if they recommend a store that charges these kind of ridiculous prices. I also suggested that they should not suggest this particular UPS store location in the future for doing returns. Edit Update: after the UPS store responded and said I should reach out to ups.com. I did so and explained my story. I received an automated email saying that a case number had been opened. One week went by and I heard nothing from UPS. I sent another follow up email asking them what the status was and another automated email was returned, saying another case had been opened. Another week went by with no response. I finally called UPS customer service and gave them my case numbers and they said they were going to escalate my case and somebody would get back to me within 24 hours. Another four days have gone by and I’ve heard nothing from UPS. This local UPS store and UPS Corporate itself is a joke.
