I would rate East Moline location as a zero star if it were an option. I avoid this location because the clerks are always rude and unprofessional. Two particular, one heavier set and the other who has Albinism, are the two I've had negative encounters with. Today I needed a money order and was short on time so decided to just take my chances but that was a mistake. There's an option, when paying with card, to bypass the pin; I chose that option, not knowing its not truly an option and it would be declined. Long story short, instead of explaining in a polite way of how it works, and that if yoi bypass the pin option, it shows as credit card, she had the audacity to get mad and say, "you can't buy money orders with money that isn't yours!" . I'm like, "excuse me? Money that isn't mine?" Well, long story short, i told her it was a debit card not credit and that all she had to do was explain nicely and everytime I go to that location they're rude for absolutely no reason; she then had the audacity to say, "there is a reason" , continued to be rude, ended up giving me $2 which I didn't even know what for, so I asked along with an explanation and she became more rude! "You're actually getting $2 more and thos way we don't have to stand here and go back and forth and I don't have 20 others standing in line". THE AUDACITY!!! Needless to say, at this point, I'm beside myself with how unprofessional and rude she is, I said "you don't deserve this job" and proceeded to leave the facility bit she then sarcastically says something to me so things escalate and not so nice words were exchanged. Moral of the story, these employees should be reprimanded! Had I been someone else, who may be mentally unstable or just careless, her behaviors could have led to an unpleasant, violent incident. IF YOU HATE YOUR JOB AND CAN'T HANDLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, FIND SOMETHING YOU CAN DO WITHOUT DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC! BE KIND, ITS COST NOTHING! BE MINDFUL...THERE'S ALOT OF MENTALLY UNSTABLE PEOPLE AMONG US and your ignorance can easily get you hurt or even lead you to losing your job!

Have had multiple times post office has stopped my mail and and had it returned to sender for being out of town for 3-4 days. Trying to get anything accomplished over the phone would be laughable..if it wasn't so slow and constantly picked up background noise making that section have to start over. 30 min with their automated and still was nowhere.

I forgot to update my address while ordering a few things off amazon, I noticed before the item had even shipped so I call amazon, and They offer no help besides to say basically I could reorder the stuff and spend even more money, I called my former apartment building office and they also offered no help besides to say they called the current apt occupants and they hadn’t heard back from them.. very frustrated at this point, so I take a shot in the dark and do the unthinkable! I called my local post office- I spoke with Terri and not only was she extremely pleasant on the phone to me but she immediately called the mail carrier after she found which one had my package and had them bring my package to the post office for me to hold til I could pick it up personally- I arrived yesterday to grab it and the carrier hadn’t yet returned for the day, no big deal I’ll just come back the next day for it- that woman called me after postal hours to assure me the carrier had come back and my package was there safe and sound!! Above average customer service!!! A billion stars if possible, and they saved me a substantial amount of money!! I can never say thank you to Terri and the other hard working postal workers at the East Moline Post Office
