Her hair was styled in a messy bun, and she seemed to be struggling to maintain a professional demeanor. Regrettably, she did not exhibit any signs of friendliness or willingness to assist me. Furthermore, I noticed a change in the post office’s policy regarding the provision of tape for box sealing. Previously, employees were readily available to assist customers in securing their packages. However, in my recent visit to Mendota, Lasalle, Peru, and Sterling, I was met with a different experience. The employees there were consistently helpful and willing to assist me in closing my boxes. While I understand that working on the day after a holiday can be challenging, it is important for employees to maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with the public.
